This is pretty interesting. Doctors ought to be held accountable for mistakes, but the present system is so messed up, more than the doctors who screw up are getting hurt. There needs to be some major reforms: as far as standards of practice for medical doctors and in terms of how suits can be brought against practitioners. I hope something good can come of Obama's machinations and not just more strife.
