Obama Proposing a Consumer Financial Protection Agency

The new agency created by the Obama administration is supposed to be a strong independent agency to help protect consumers. The agency will help clarify information for consumers. The Consumer Financial Protection Agency will oversee credit cards regulations, giftcards, & mortgages. The agency also intends to expand the Federal Reserve's overview of large companies that the global economy can't afford to loose.
