AIG Bonuses

I know most of us wonder how the AIG executives got away with their annual million dollar bonuses after they ran their company into the ground. Here is an article that explains it.

  1. I've heard this "legally obligated" argument a couple of times. It doesn't quite ring true to me though. I live in Bucks county and we have teachers who have a contract and many are not happy with the terms so they want to renogiate, before the car industry fell apart the unions were constantly being asked to "give back" from their contracts, it often appears that when it's the "regular guy" contracts are not quite so sacred as when it's the blue blood in the mac-mansion in West Chester (NY not PA :))
